Here are the answers to your questions.

Q:Video driver, ok, though how to extract it?
A: I went to the below link and downloaded all the drivers on a different Computer. I then put them on a USB thumb drive and copied them to the toughbooks c drive. I then extracted and installed all the drivers to a directory I name Toughbookdrivers.
http://toughbookcentral.com/panasonic-cf-29-drivers/
Q: Isn’t the touchscreen driver incorporated with the trackpad driver?
A: I believe that the touchscreen is not incorporated with the trackpad driver, I remember the touchscreen driver was installed after the trackpad driver.

I hope this helps.

Hi Nicolas,

You wrote: I used the windows XP video driver and XP touch screen driver and installed it via windows Capability mode. This will fix the standard video that Windows Installs by default.

Video driver, ok, though how to extract it? Isn't the touchscreen driver incorporated with the trackpad driver?

Thanks.

Q: can i reinstall the old xp OS and then just install the Ultimate 7 upgrade or should i just install the complete windows Ultimate 7 package.
A: I don't see why it wouldn't work. I personally have never done it, I had Windows 7 Ultimate N and did a full install. It should work. Give it a try.
Here is a link via Microsoft on upgrading from XP to 7:

I plan on changing out the harddrive to a faster one on my cf-29 and i am putting in a 1g ram card. can i reinstall the old xp OS and then just install the Ultimate 7 upgrade or should i just install the complete windows Ultimate 7 package. i ask becasue the upgrade package is about 100 bucks cheaper than the complete package.

This code is perfect if your working with dates and strings. In my crazy case we had to send an object attached in a stream (TCPIP) to a non-windows system. So one of my guys on my team came up with an idea to create an array list as an object, I thought it wouldn't work...BUT IT DID. So we posted here. :)
We use your code a lot for normal coding:
Dim THEDATESTR As String = Format(DateTime.Now.ToString("yyyyMMdd")) 'format for SAP
But sometimes we get crazy problems where the normal way doesn't work, and crazy code that you would never think would work...does... I tend to enjoy the crazy code, then talk about it and buy a round of beer for the developer that came up with it...

' This is the shortest line to get what you want
        TextBox3.Text = Date.Now().ToString("MMMM d, yyyy")
