Citibank Opens Apple Store-Like Branch in Union Square

Citibank Opens Apple Store-Like Branch in Union Square (Bank System Technology)

Citi opened a glamorous, high-tech branch in New York City’s Union Square last night. The 9,700 square foot branch was designed by Eight, Inc., designers of the Apple stores, and has the “branch of the future” look made popular by Umpqua Bank and more recently Royal Bank of Canada, with large flat-screen displays and community spaces that encourage customers to sit and relax. It uses envelope-free ATMs pioneered by Wells Fargo and JPMorgan.

I was there last night, and it was a wonderful party. I was amazed at the Technology, and the only problem I saw was…WE NEED MORE of these branches!! Citi is stepping up to the plate with Technology and I look forward to seeing more. Their teams are wonderful helpful professionals that know you personally¬†and this is why Citi is¬†my bank of choice.
