GIS Connection

Keep data sharing between departments current and updated instantly with the Adept GIS Connect. This Adept product provides municipal building, planning, and addressing departments with the necessary software to interface directly to their existing ESRI ArcView GIS system. Using the GIS Connect interface, all data in GIS can be viewed and updated within the Adept Enterprise modules. 

The Adept GIS Connect  interface can draw maps for agency staff, with selection of an address, parcel or owner and by clicking the GIS Link button.  It also draws a map showing the location of the address and pulls relevant GIS files such as tax parcel information, flood plain, steep slope, historic, inspector zones and other data. This means a permit or planning employee doesn’t have to look up large paper maps to input the information, it happens automatically.

Tech or platforms specifications for ESRI:  For use with Adept software with Windows XP, or Vista, and have a network with a server running ESRI Arcview/ArcGIS 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, SDE, and ArcServer.
