Senator questions Apple over tracking (CNN)

Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) wants answers. Security researchers Wednesday revealed the existence of a file on iPhones and on their computer backups that log detailed cell phone triangulation data and has done so since iOS 4 was released last summer.

My Two Cents: Big Brother plain and simple. I am sure this data is used to provide market trends based on the user account information, age, sex, so future marketing for widgets, and apps  can be directed to the interests of that user account. BUT the user should have the function to disable this.
