Meeting agendas, internal and external review progress, documents, land-use restrictions, and their connections to development reviews and permits can all be easily searched and tracked.

Planning Department Management
Inspections and priorities are scheduled automatically, with statuses updated according to user-defined calendar deadlines. Documentation—including site plans, applications, notices, and emails—can be attached to each review record. Notice and correspondence templates may be created and modified using Microsoft Word. Inspections are accessible remotely in real time via mobile devices. Parcel and address records can be flagged to inform staff of violations, historic sites, flood plains, and land-use restrictions. Multi-layered interactive maps, displayed through Adept GIS, facilitate tracking of plan reviews and inspections. Staff members are able to generate customized, on-demand reports as needed.

Fees and payment tracking accommodates multiple payment methods, ensuring transparent financial management.

Adept offers workflow tracking that lets teams monitor and document daily tasks, assignments, and projects from their dashboards. This configurable feature supports progress monitoring, deadline management, accountability, and notifications, assignable by department, group, user, or GIS task. GIS Data and Map Integration
The existing GIS maps created within your own GIS systems interface directly with Adept Enterprise ®, linking mapping and aerial imagery property information with property ownership data that is instantly accessible by Field Inspectors in real time. The Adept system uses GIS technology to map project boundaries and analyze land use, zoning, and facility locations. This helps staff visualize spatial relationships, check zoning compliance, and assess impacts on nearby properties and infrastructure. With GIS data, planners can quickly evaluate permitted uses, site design, and development suitability, making zoning and land development reviews more efficient.
